The R2P Injury Management System is a whole-school system that enables schools to safely manage injured pupils whilst removing the admin burden this usually places on school staff.
It is a cloud-based system so injuries can be quickly recorded via mobile, tablet or computer. They are then automatically communicated to all those involved in that pupil’s care such as parents, form tutors and school nurses. They can then be easily tracked and managed, with clear audit trails to help the school demonstrate their compliance with best-practise.
The R2P Injury Management System can be easily integrated with SOCS to provide complete visibility of injuries when it comes to selecting teamsheets and taking registers on SOCS. Ensuring players only return to sport when they are fit, able and confident to do so.

In the event of a concussion, pupils are automatically linked via the R2P Injury Management System to our team of expert doctors for assessment. These doctors have unrivalled experience in the field of child and adolescent concussion, undertaking thousands of assessments every year. With their continued care, you can ensure pupils only return to play once it’s safe for them to do so.
Our innovative telemedicine clinics* are run every night of the week and at weekends to provide convenient and accessible appointments for your pupils and their parents. Ensuring they get the care they need, when they need it.
Concussed pupils are walked through their recovery and provided with bespoke recovery programmes. Everyone involved in that pupil’s care, inside and outside of school, is automatically kept up to date with their progress via notifications from the R2P Injury Management System.
*Telemedicine clinics are accessible by mobile, tablet or computer and do not require any software or app downloads.
At the end of the school year, our team of expert doctors will review your school’s injury statistics and provide a detailed analysis on areas where injury prevention measures could be implemented. They will compare your data across all of Return2Play’s partner schools to highlight areas of success or concern.
An example of the analysis reports that make up part of the review and are presented to the school can be seen to the right.
Every school that partners with Return2Play has an appointed member of our Medical Team. This doctor will be able to provide advice on a head injury regardless of whether it happened at school, at home, or even on a trip abroad.
Whether you aren’t sure if a concussion has occurred; if you don’t know what to do next; or if you want some help speaking to parents, any staff member at the school can speak to your appointed Return2Play doctor who will ensure that the school follows best-practise at all times.
Our Medical Team will provide training for all school staff on how to recognise and manage head injuries.
Covering everything from the science behind concussions; to recognising them in the playground; to correctly advising parents, the training sessions are designed to empower school staff to make the right decisions and follow best-practise at all times.
These sessions can be tailored to your school’s requirements and make a great addition to staff inset days.
Whether you are a School, Club or University, we’d love to hear about how we can help you, so please get in touch.
