Telemedicine Concussion Management

We provide unlimited direct access to some of the UK’s leading concussion experts and sports doctors.

Our doctors have managed over 5000 concussions in youth sport and are seen as global leaders in the area, with many also working in professional sport at clubs like Saracens, Harlequins and London Irish.

Appointments are available 7 days-a-week with clinics run in weekday evenings and weekends so that pupils and parents don’t have to miss school or work to attend.

Our doctors create bespoke recovery programmes to guide the pupil, their parents and the school through the recovery process, ensuring that pupils don’t return to the classroom or the sports field until they are fit, able and confident to do so.

Education & Training Resources

Our Medical Team will provide training for all school staff on how to recognise and manage head injuries.

Covering everything from the science behind concussions; to recognising them in the playground; to communicating with parents. The training sessions are designed to empower school staff to make the right decisions and follow best-practise at all times.

Using data from the R2P Injury Management System, these sessions provide real-life case studies and examples of how changes in staff’s actions can significantly reduce injury rates and pupil’s recovery times.

These sessions can be tailored to your school’s requirements and make a great addition to staff inset days. Sessions are also available for pupils and parents.

Access to Sports Doctor Advice

Every school that partners with Return2Play has an appointed doctor available to them from 9am – 5pm, Monday – Saturday, to discuss cases. If a member of staff has concerns or questions about an injury then they can get advice from this doctor, whether the injury happened at school, at home, or even on a trip abroad.

So whether you aren’t sure if a concussion has occurred; if you don’t know what to do after a serious injury; or if you want some help speaking to parents, your appointed doctor is on hand to help.

Policy, Governance & Reporting

Return2Play provide every partner school with all of the necessary policies for the school to demonstrate compliance with best-practise.

Using the school’s data from the R2P Injury Management System, our medical team provide ongoing analysis on your school’s injuries. They also provide a detailed analysis on areas where injury prevention measures could be implemented.

Annually, one of our expert doctors will lead a review meeting with the school to discuss this analysis, provide comparisons from across all of Return2Play’s partner schools and offer guidance on the school’s policies and processes.

Working in partnership to keep your pupils as safe and healthy as possible.
