In the event of a concussion to a player, the only action required by the University is to complete an online injury referral form. This can be done by the coaches, physios or administrators. No login details or trying to remember passwords required.
The forms can be accessed by mobile, tablet or desktop and will be tailored to suit your University’s exact requirements.
Once completed, the job of the University is done. The injury details will then be transferred onto the R2P Injury Management System.
Once an online referral form has been completed, the injury details will be transferred onto the R2P Injury Management System. This will automatically inform the player of the next steps in their recovery.
Relevant staff members at the University will have access to the system, so that they can monitor injuries and access clear audit trails to help demonstrate their compliance with best-practise.
In the event of a concussion, players are automatically linked to our team of expert doctors for assessment via the R2P Injury Management System. These doctors have unrivalled experience in the field of concussion, undertaking thousands of assessments every year. With their continued care, you can ensure players only return to play once it’s safe for them to do so.
Our innovative telemedicine clinics* are run every night of the week and at weekends to provide convenient and accessible appointments for your players. Ensuring they get the care they need, when they need it.
Concussed players are walked through their recovery and provided with bespoke recovery programmes. Everyone involved in that players care, including the University, are automatically kept up to date with their progress via notifications from the R2P Injury Management System.
*Telemedicine clinics are accessible by phone, tablet or computer and do not require any software or app downloads.
Every University that partners with Return2Play has an appointed member of our Medical Team. This doctor will be able to provide advice on a head injury regardless of whether it happened on campus, during an away fixture, at home, or even on a trip abroad.
So whether you aren’t sure if a concussion has occurred; if you don’t know what to do after a serious injury; or if you want some help speaking to parents, our team of medical experts are on hand to help.
At the end of the year, our team of expert doctors will review your University’s injury statistics and provide an analysis on areas where injury prevention measures could be implemented.
They will compare your data across all of Return2Play’s partners to highlight areas of success or concern.
Working in partnership to keep your players as safe and healthy as possible.
Whether you are a School, Club or University, we’d love to help you enhance medical care and well-being for your pupils/players, so please feel free to contact us.
