Next Steps

We're looking forward to partnering with you to provide gold-standard care to your pupils. Before we start, there are just a few things to get done.

1. Agreements

Useful information for Senior Management Teams, Director of IT, Data Protection Officer, Head of Compliance or equivalent.

There are two agreements to be signed and returned. Our General Services Agreement which details the service we will be providing your school and our Data Processing Agreement which highlights the processing activities and technical & operational security measures in place to keep your pupil’s data safe.

If you could please download these agreements below and send them to us once signed.

2. R2P System Setup

Useful information for Senior Management Team, Director of Sport, Director of IT/Database Manager or equivalent.

The R2P System can be setup in a number of ways, tailored to what works best for your school. We have a recommended set up guide which you can download below. We will discuss this with you and once the right setup has been agreed, pupil and parent data will need to be uploaded directly into the R2P System by the school. This can either be done via a csv. upload or using our Wonde API. We will create staff accounts for you, and will explain how to do this import process.

3. Medical Meeting

Useful information for Head of Pastoral, Director of Sport, Medical Team or equivalent.

A phone call or Zoom/MS Teams meeting between the school and one of our medical team. This is a chance for you to get to know your named doctor and for them to get to know more about the school. They will discuss medical policies, operational policies and agree on how best to contact each other.

This meeting shouldn’t take any more than 30 minutes.

4 & 5. Education Session and R2P System Training

Useful information for all staff.

Great for inset days, our educational sessions are based on how to recognise and manage head injuries in a school setting. Ranging from 30 to 60 minutes depending on available timeslots in the day, these sessions are designed to empower all staff within the school to feel confident in making decisions around head injuries. Q&A sections often prove especially useful.

Our R2P System Training sessions can be from 10 to 30 minutes and give those who will recording injuries on the system a full run through of how easy it is to do so. These are accompanied by our useful online instructions and videos.

6. Communication to Parents

Useful information for Director of Sport, Medical Team and Parents.

We think it’s a fantastic message to your parents to be able to say that in the event of  head injury, the school will provide their child with unlimited doctors appointments, via Return2Play. It’s also important that they know about Return2Play and what to expect if an injury does occur. So we’ve put together a template letter which you can download below, edit as you see fit and send out to your parent body.
